Sanofi Canada
Sanofi Partner Portal

Overview

I led the design of the Sanofi Partner Portal, a digital platform created to give hospitals and pharmacy procurement teams direct access to accurate, real-time product availability and purchasing. The portal allows users to search, review, and purchase Sanofi products directly from Sanofi representatives, reducing reliance on the federal government procurement portal and minimizing delays caused by outdated or inaccurate availability data.
Problem
Hospitals and pharmacies relied on a federal government portal to check drug availability and place orders, but the information was often outdated or inaccurate. This led to miscommunication, delayed purchasing decisions, and uncertainty around product access. Procurement teams lacked a reliable, direct channel to verify availability and purchase Sanofi products efficiently.
Goal
Create a trusted, real-time procurement platform that allows hospitals and pharmacies to confidently search for Sanofi products, verify availability, and purchase directly, while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and ease of use for both buyers and Sanofi staff.

Challenges
Designing for a highly regulated, information-dense pharmaceutical environment.
Supporting complex product discovery using multiple identifiers such as DINs, SKUs, product names, and routes of administration.
Balancing simplicity for procurement users with the depth of detail required for clinical and purchasing decisions.
Creating differentiated experiences for guest users, registered members, and internal Sanofi staff.
Ensuring product and availability data remained accurate and consistently up to date.
Solution
A clean, branded, and intuitive portal that brings a sense of trust and accuracy to the healthcare space.
We designed a multi-tiered partner portal that provides hospitals and pharmacy procurement teams with real-time visibility into Sanofi product availability and a direct purchasing pathway. The platform features a robust product catalogue with advanced filtering and search capabilities, supporting clinical and procurement identifiers such as DINs, SKUs, and routes of administration. Separate guest, member, and administrator experiences ensure users receive the appropriate level of detail and access, while an internal admin portal enables Sanofi teams to maintain accurate, up-to-date product information, reducing confusion, accelerating purchasing, and improving trust across the procurement process.
